What the managed ops layer covers

Think of it as a sysadmin team bolt-on — without the headcount cost. Works alongside your existing hosting provider.

24/7 monitoring & alerting

Zabbix + Grafana on your servers. CPU, memory, disk, and application-level metrics. Alerts route to our NOC, not your inbox. We investigate before you notice.

Security patching & updates

Critical OS and application patches applied within 24 hours. PHP, MySQL, kernel, SSL renewals — all handled. Patch windows scheduled to avoid traffic peaks.

Automated backups & recovery

Daily backups with off-site storage, 14–60 day retention by tier. One-click restore or granular file recovery. Backup health verified weekly — not just configured and forgotten.

Incident response

P1 incidents get a response in under 15 minutes. We triage, remediate, and post an incident summary. For Pro tier, a named engineer owns the follow-up.

Performance tuning

Proactive identification of slow queries, memory leaks, disk thresholds. Redis, Varnish, MySQL tuning applied incrementally. Most interventions happen before your users feel them.

Dedicated support channel

Slack, WhatsApp, or phone — not a ticket queue. At Business tier and above you get a named ops engineer who knows your setup. Response times enforced by SLA.

Pricing

Managed ops add-on pricing

Add the managed ops layer to your existing hosting. Pick a tier based on your server count and required SLA. All tiers available standalone or bundled into a Cloud Ops plan.

Managed ops add-on vs hiring a sysadmin

FAQ

Managed ops — common questions

Do I have to move my hosting to ZenoCloud?
No. The managed ops add-on works with any hosting provider — AWS, GCP, Azure, Hetzner, bare metal, or a dedicated server you own. We install our monitoring agents on your servers and provide the ops layer on top. You keep your current provider and billing relationship.
How is this different from managed hosting at /managed-hosting-services/?
Managed hosting at /managed-hosting-services/ is a bundled offer — you get both ZenoCloud infrastructure and managed ops together, starting from $99/mo. Managed hosting operations (this page) is the ops layer only — for teams who already have their hosting sorted and want to add 24/7 monitoring, patching, and incident response without changing providers.
What does installation involve on my servers?
We install lightweight monitoring agents (Zabbix agent ~10MB RAM) and configure log forwarding to our NOC. Initial setup takes 2–4 hours per server with SSH access. No downtime required. We provide a detailed change log of everything installed so your team has full visibility.
What is your P1 response time?
Under 15 minutes from alert trigger to first engineer touch on Business and Enterprise plans. We triage, escalate if needed, and post an incident summary with root cause and resolution. P1 is defined as: server down, database unreachable, or error rate above 5% for more than 3 minutes.
Can you manage Windows Server as well as Linux?
Yes. We manage Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, and Windows Server 2019/2022. .NET workloads on Windows Server and SQL Server management both supported. Let us know your stack during onboarding.
Is this billed per server or as a flat rate?
Essential and Business tiers cover a server block (up to 3 or up to 10). Enterprise is unlimited. If you need more servers than a tier covers, we add a block rate per additional 5 servers. Custom server counts available — just ask during the scoping call.
