Move to AWS with credits applied from day one

AWS-specific migration with our $100K credits pool, zero-downtime cutover, and post-migration managed ops. We plan, execute, optimize, and stay on — not drop-and-run. India-based team since 2009.

AWS migration, end to end

Migration is a project. Managed ops is the relationship. We do both — so the team that moves your infrastructure also runs it after go-live.

Discovery and dependency mapping

AWS Migration Evaluator, application portfolio review, and dependency mapping before a single resource moves. We identify what can lift-and-shift vs what needs re-platforming.

Architecture design

VPC layout, IAM roles, security groups, RDS configurations, ECS vs EKS vs EC2 decisions. Architecture is designed before migration starts — not invented during cutover.

AWS credits applied

We maintain a $100K replenishing pool of AWS credits. Qualified accounts get credits applied at migration time — reducing your effective AWS bill on top of architecture optimization savings.

Zero-downtime cutover

Replication-based migration with a brief cutover window. Blue/green DNS switch or load balancer cutover with tested rollback. Rollback verified on the target before we go live.

Post-migration optimization

30-day baseline after cutover, then EC2 right-sizing, Reserved Instance and Savings Plan purchasing, tagging policy for cost visibility, and security hardening review.

Managed ops after migration

Convert the migration project to an ongoing Cloud Ops retainer. Same team, continuous optimization. Most clients see their AWS bill 30–40% lower within 90 days of migration.

Pricing

AWS migration pricing

Migration is priced as a one-time project that converts to ongoing managed ops. AWS credits are applied at the managed ops stage.

Standard
one-time project

Straightforward stack, up to 10 servers

  • Discovery and dependency mapping
  • VPC + IAM + networking setup
  • Data migration + cutover execution
  • Rollback plan and pre-cutover testing
  • 30-day post-migration monitoring
  • Optional: convert to managed ops retainer

Complex
one-time project

Multi-service, database-heavy, 10–50 servers

  • Full discovery, TCO analysis
  • Multi-AZ architecture design
  • Database migration (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)
  • ECS/EKS containerization option
  • Zero-downtime cutover with 24/7 support
  • AWS credits for qualified accounts
  • 60-day post-migration support

Enterprise
one-time project

Large estate, compliance-critical, 50+ servers

  • Multi-region AWS architecture
  • Compliance-ready setup (SOC 2, HIPAA, DPDP)
  • Application modernization included
  • Dedicated cutover team
  • 90-day post-migration support
  • Converts to Enterprise managed ops retainer
Scope Enterprise

Managed ops retainer starts at ₹50,000/mo ($600) after migration. AWS credits ($100K pool) applied for qualified accounts spending ₹3L+/mo post-migration. Managed ops pricing scales with AWS spend.

Migration only vs migration plus managed ops

Most migration consultants hand you off after go-live. ZenoCloud stays on — and that is where most of the optimization value is captured.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What common stacks have you migrated to AWS?
LAMP applications (WordPress, Magento, Laravel) to EC2 + RDS, Java Spring Boot to EC2 or Elastic Beanstalk, Node.js to Lambda or ECS, Python/Django to ECS or EC2, database migrations (MySQL to RDS or Aurora, self-managed PostgreSQL to RDS), and bare-metal workloads to EC2 for compute-intensive workloads. If it runs on Linux, ZenoCloud has likely migrated it.
How do the AWS credits work?
We maintain a $100K pool of AWS credits (replenishing approximately annually via AWS partner programs). For qualified managed clients — typically spending ₹3L+/mo on AWS — we apply credits directly to your account. Credits reduce your effective AWS spend immediately on top of architecture optimization savings. Qualification is case-by-case based on spend level, contract horizon, and expansion potential.
Will you do a lift-and-shift or will you re-architect?
It depends on your situation and we will be direct about the tradeoffs. Lift-and-shift is fastest and lowest risk — applications run on AWS but the architecture is unchanged. Re-platforming (managed RDS instead of self-hosted MySQL, S3 instead of local storage) delivers cost savings with modest additional work. Full re-architecture (containerization, serverless, microservices) delivers the most long-term benefit but is a larger engagement. Most clients start with lift-and-shift, then re-platform specific components in the 90 days after migration.
How do you handle the AWS Migration Evaluator process?
ZenoCloud runs Migration Evaluator or equivalent tooling during discovery to profile your current on-prem infrastructure — CPU utilization, memory, storage IOPS, and network throughput. This data drives EC2 instance sizing recommendations and avoids the most common migration mistake: over-provisioning EC2 instances by mapping on-prem spec to on-demand instance size without considering actual utilization.
What if we already have an AWS account with existing resources?
That is common. We audit the existing account before designing the migration — existing VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and resource tagging all factor into the plan. If the existing architecture has significant problems (monolithic VPC, no IAM separation, untagged resources), we address those as part of the migration rather than migrating into a broken environment.
Do you take over our AWS billing?
Optional. You can keep billing in your own account — we operate with IAM access. Alternatively, we can take over billing through AWS Organizations, which enables us to apply credits and negotiate volume discounts on your behalf. Most clients choose to keep billing ownership and grant us IAM access.
What is the difference between this page and your general cloud migration page?
The general /cloud/migration/ page covers all cloud targets: AWS, GCP, Azure, and bare metal. This page is AWS-specific — it covers AWS architecture patterns, the Migration Evaluator process, AWS-specific tooling (DMS, MGN, CloudEndure), and the AWS credits offer. If you are migrating to GCP or Azure, start with /cloud/migration/ instead.
