About the Role

We run managed infrastructure for businesses across the US and India. When a client's environment breaks at 2am, our engineers fix it. As Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll design and manage the AWS infrastructure behind that, including provisioning, automation, monitoring, and incident response. You'll own systems end-to-end. This is not a ticket-closing role.

What You'll Do

• Design and manage AWS environments: EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, Lambda
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Manage Kubernetes clusters for container workloads
• Write infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Ansible
• Own incident response for production issues, including 24/7 on-call rotation
• Write runbooks, postmortems, and documentation your teammates can actually follow
• Work directly with clients on infrastructure reviews and architecture decisions
• Use AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) as part of your daily workflow, for infrastructure-as-code generation, incident analysis, runbook drafting, and monitoring pattern detection

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE
• Deep AWS hands-on: EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, in production, not courses
• Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Terraform or CloudFormation. IaC is how you work, not an afterthought
• Strong Linux administration: Ubuntu, CentOS
• Ansible for configuration management
• Monitoring setup experience: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, New Relic
• You write clearly. Runbooks, incident reports, client updates, all yours
• Comfortable using AI tools in your engineering workflow. We expect you to use them, not avoid them

Nice to Have

• Magento or WordPress hosting environments
• Nginx, Apache, Varnish optimization
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis administration
• AWS Security Specialty or CKS
