AI-First GTM Engineer
About the Role
We're hiring a GTM Engineer to build and own ZenoCloud's go-to-market infrastructure, and to be our first dedicated AI workflow builder. This is a hands-on, high-agency role sitting at the intersection of sales, marketing, engineering, and AI. The bulk of the work is designing and shipping AI-first systems using Claude (Anthropic's API) and modern automation tooling.
If you're someone who thinks "why am I doing this manually when Claude could do it", this is your job.
This role starts 100% focused on ZenoCloud, with the scope expanding to other Zeno Ventures properties as ZenoCloud's GTM motion stabilises (approx. Month 5 onwards).
What You'll Actually Do
Phase 1: ZenoCloud GTM Infrastructure (Months 1–4)
- Wire up lead capture forms on the ZenoCloud website → CRM routing
- Own and clean up the CRM (currently Zoho Desk; may migrate to Freshdesk or HubSpot)
- Build AI-first lead enrichment. Use Claude to auto-research inbound leads, summarise their business, and prepare a context brief before the first sales call
- Build AI-powered nurture sequences. Use Claude to generate personalised follow-up messages based on lead profile and behaviour, not generic drip templates
- Build a prospect intelligence layer. Claude reads a company's website, LinkedIn, and tech stack and outputs a ZenoCloud-fit score + talking points
- Instrument basic attribution: which pages, campaigns, and channels generate leads
- Build dashboards so leadership and sales can see pipeline health at a glance
- Support ICP targeting. Help segment the contact database by buyer type (Agency, E-Commerce, SaaS CTO, SMB)
- Use Claude to automate internal ops: summarising support tickets, drafting SOPs, generating weekly pipeline reports
Phase 2: Expand to Zeno Ventures (Month 5+)
- Map GTM infrastructure needs for other ventures under Zeno Ventures
- Adapt and replicate the ZenoCloud stack where applicable
- Become the shared GTM ops resource across the group
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 2–4 years in a GTM, RevOps, marketing ops, sales ops, or AI tools role
- Hands-on with Claude or other LLM APIs. You've built prompts, called APIs, and shipped something real with AI. This is non-negotiable.
- Can design a multi-step AI workflow end-to-end: trigger → Claude API call → structured output → action in another system
- Comfortable with no-code/low-code automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, ideally n8n)
- Hands-on with at least one CRM (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, Freshdesk)
- Can set up lead forms, webhooks, and basic API integrations without hand-holding
- Understands what a sales funnel looks like and why clean data matters
- Strong attention to detail. Broken automations and dirty data are your personal enemies
Good to Have
- Experience building Claude Projects, custom system prompts, or multi-turn conversation flows
- Familiarity with the Anthropic API (tool use, structured outputs)
- Experience in a B2B SaaS or managed services environment
- Basic SQL for reporting and segmentation
- Basic Python or JavaScript, enough to call an API, parse JSON, and connect tools
- Experience with outbound tooling (Apollo, Lemlist, or similar)
- Has worked in a small team / startup where you had to figure things out yourself
